Hi Mike, good catch. Afaik the bug hasn't been fixed, in all production clusters I work with we removed CPU limits. So my Kubernetes Resource Management in Production (https://itnext.io/kubernetes-resource-management-in-production-d5382c904ed1 )article is newer.

I updated this one now as well to tell people about the CPU limits and unwanted throttling.
